The home of 8 Wired Brewing in Matakana. Barrelworks is our barrel aging facility and tap room. We have 21 taps, pouring our latest and greatest creations. Along with rare treats from our barrel aged collection.

Our kitchen has a wide variety of tasty snacks and burgers (the best in Matakana) which we like to pair up with styles of beer that complement the flavours. We have an outdoor seating area which gets the sun long into the evening. A fantastic spot for some beers after the beach.

Our tasting paddles are a great way to enjoy and sample a range of beers during your visit. These are made up of 5x100ml glasses. That you can customise yourself or get one of our friendly staff to recommend a selection suited to your tastes. We also have a full takeaway licence so you take your favourite brews home with you either by filling straight from our taps or choosing from our bottled and can selection.
